Who we are
CoCo is made by Nuvio Labs. Questions, requests or complaints about your data: hello@nuviolabs.xyz.
What stays on your Mac
- Prices, news and your watchlist are read by CoCo on your Mac from public sources, and stored on your Mac.
- Telegram: you log in inside CoCo's own private browser on your Mac. Your messages and login are never sent to our servers, and CoCo never writes your Telegram messages to disk.
- Secrets, such as the tokens you save, are kept in your Mac's Keychain.
- Your settings (theme, alert rules, sounds) are stored on your Mac only.
What CoCo sends to our servers
Our servers run the trial, Premium, license keys and the live news and X feed. To do that, CoCo sends:
- A device ID: a one-way code made from your Mac's hardware ID with a secret added. It can't be turned back into your hardware ID, and it isn't your serial number or your name. It's how we give each Mac its trial once.
- The app version, so we know which versions can still run.
- The X accounts you add in Settings (up to two), so we can fetch their posts for you.
- When you activate a license key: the key. We store only a scrambled form of it, not the key itself, and the device IDs of the Macs it's activated on.
- Your email address, only when you buy Premium or ask for a license key. We use it to send your key and receipts.
- Purchase records: the amount, currency and payment method (for example, crypto), and the receipt number. We don't receive your card number or full payment details; the payment provider keeps those.
CoCo doesn't need an account, and it doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
Who helps us run CoCo
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and our servers, and runs DNS and email routing.
- Resend: sends the emails CoCo sends, such as your key and receipts.
- Contabo: hosts the server that reads news and X posts for the app.
- Payment providers: when checkout opens, Infini (and later Stripe) process your payment.
These providers process data only to run their part of CoCo.
How long we keep it
- Device records are kept while CoCo is in use, and deleted when you ask us to.
- Email addresses, license keys and receipts are kept for as long as needed for your Premium and for tax and accounting records.
- Server logs are kept only as long as needed to run and protect the service.
Your choices
- You can use CoCo's free features and the trial without giving us an email address.
- You can deactivate a license on a Mac at any time in Settings › General › CoCo Premium.
- You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@nuviolabs.xyz. Some purchase records must be kept by law, and we'll say so if that applies.
Children
CoCo isn't made for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell license holders by email.
